Not sure how Mark Twain fits into this. Is is highly creepy...

I remember this movie. That clip, from what I understand, is based on an unfinished work written by Twain that was worked on periodically up until his death.

But, yeah, it's creepy as all hell.

I love the headless figure holding the mask. I can't believe no one has stolen it (at least not more publicly).

Creepy cartoons are the best. There was a French movie that was very Muppet-style about the Marquis de Sade, called, I believe Marquis. It was about Sade in the Bastille, and it was out there. I have only seen it available on an R2 DVD. I may have to get it, and a DVD to mpeg ripper. :-)
