Favorite Albums: "The Boy with the Arab Strap" (1998, Jeepster/Matador)

My introduction to Belle and Sebastian was on the "Juno" soundtrack, where I fell in love with the song Piazza, New York Catcher. B&S are also my introduction to "Twee Rock."

This is a really great mellow album with great, poetic lyrics.

Great choice. "Seeing Other People", "Take Your Carriage Clock and Shove It" and "Act of the Apostle" are my favorites. They tell such great stories.

I am lousy at song titles, but used to listen to this one constantly in the car.

I love me some Belle & Sebastian. I found them from the music snobs at artofthemix.org and "Sleep the Clock Around," "Me and the Major," "Fox in the Snow" and "Step into my Office Baby" are some faves. They really know how to craft an album, and you should get the rest of 'em!

I have "Fold your hands, child..." somewhere (it has a great oicture for a cover - very "Twins of Evil").

I had gotten away from pop music since my car stereo is acting up. My mini has lots of little electrical glitches :-(

If you haven't already, make sure you pick up "Tigermilk"

There first album and still one of their best.

I have been meaning to get that one. Thanks for the "thumbs up" on it.
