Two Fake "The Doctors" from Siskoid's Blog of Geekery

These are from "The Curse of the Fatal Death" - a Comic Relief parody, as posted by Siskoid here. Two of my favorites:

Rowan Atkinson (The Black Adder, Mr. Bean, etc)

Joanna Lumley (AbFab, The New Avengers, etc)

Both would have made fantastic The Doctors. In my book Atkinson can do no wrong.

Curse of Fatal Death was awesome! I saw it 10 or so years ago when I first came out.

"They're not breasts! They're Dalek bumps!"

Hilarious!

I was a Doctor Who con a couple of years ago, and Peter Davidson was talking about who he thing would make a great docotr. He thought David Werner would. I was surprised because I had thought the same thing! But it seems they don't want an older doctor anymore.

I found "The Curse of the Fatal Death" online. I'll have to post a link to it.

Atkinson can do no wrong, except for that Johnny English movie that was so bad he ended up suffering from depression for years.

I actually saw it, but managed to block out the memories.

I hear and read so much about Dr. Who that I regret I never got into it more that superficially. Would a female Dr. Who go over well with the fanbase? Is it more popular now than ever before. I loved loved loved Torchwood - Captain Jack is the bomb and the shit. How does real Dr. Who fans view that series?

Oh and love Blackadder. Mr. Bean is funny too. That baby diaper scene still cracks me up so for me Atkinso can do no wrong.

I think the DW fans like Torchwood, but not sure if it is universal.

I got T the complete Blackadder for Giftmas. She only really likes The Third, but I like all of them.
