Premature Book Review: Satan Burger

Once in a while, you just can't resist a book title, nor the description:

God hates you. All of you. He closed the gates of Heaven and wants you to rot on Earth forever. Not only that, he is repossessing your souls and feeding them to a large vagina-shaped machine called the Walm--an interdimensional doorway that brings His New Children into the world. He loves these new children, but He doesn't love you. They are more interesting than you. They are beautiful, psychotic, magical, sex-crazed, and deadly. They are turning your cities into apocalyptic chaos, and there's nothing you can do about it ...

Well, so far it is mostly living up to that.

I am not yet sure how to describe it... There is a lot of punk and ska action... The world is supposed to be populated by people with no interest whatsoever, except in this town. The writing style is offbeat. It kind of reminds me of The Doom Generation.

Apparently, there is actually Satan-comes-to-Earth in it, but now it is mostly full of people that would not exist.

As a book, I am enjoying it. Not thrilled by it, but not so blasé that I expect to quit reading it. If you are an avid reader and want something oddball, this might be the book for you, though I'd go with Kafka on the Shore first.
