Search Function with No Navbar

Long time readers may remember they great Blogger witch hunt of 2009. Several of my favorite blogs were deleted by being flagged as inappropriate. I found a way to remove the navbar (that thing you don't see at the top of this blog) [link] This way it is harder to flag a blog as inappropriate... in fact, I am not sure how else it could be done.

Well, part of the problem with this is that you lose the "search this blog" function. Way back when I mentioned I would find a way around this. I did, but apparently I did not post it. So, here goes:
  1. Go to your Blogger dashboard
  2. Click "design" on your blog
  3. Click "Add a Gadget"
  4. Scroll down to "HTML/Javascript"
  5. Give it a title
  6. In the "content" add the text found here or below
  7. Click "save" and move it to where you want it

<form id="searchThis" action="/search" style="display:inline;" method="get">
<input id="searchBox" name="q" type="text"/>
<input id="searchButton" value="Go" type="submit"/>
</form>

BTW: that is not my code. I forget where I found it.

I always imagine the people reporting blogs like this for being inappropriate as really bored and scared of boobs.
