Someone pointed out recently (sorry, I forget which blog) that eBay sellers were getting away from actual auctions, and just picking the price they want and hoping it goes up.
I was looking for some... uh... alright, it was action figures! Um, well, I found one I wanted, but said, "hey, maybe I should look at Amazon first."
Not only did Amazon have it for less, it was from the same seller!
I am done with eBay. No mas!

Hah, that sucks. There are good deals to be found on eBay, but it's getting harder and harder to find them.
Now that ebay has driven your local vintage comic/collectible stores out of business (or mom and pop saw great big dollar signs and put their surplus on ebay themselves)and everyone's emptied their attics of anything remotely valuable; we're left with a pretty lame overpriced aftermath.
Thanks ebay. You suck.
I just made my last purchase there, and hopefully it was a good one. But frankly, I don't plan to bother anymore. You can still find some oddball stuff, but it seems hardly worth the effort.
